Our fees

The lawyers at Victor Victor & Helgoe LLP offers a free initial consultation. Initial consultations generally last from 15 minutes to an hour. The firm does not represent you after an initial consultation. In order to retain Victor Victor & Helgoe LLP, you must sign a written contract.

Personal injury cases are handled on a contingency basis. If your case is successful, the firm receives a percentage of any monetary settlement or verdict. There is no fee for attorney services unless the case is successful, although you may have to pay certain costs, such as expert fees, private investigator fees and copying charges.

Other cases such as criminal defense and custody cases are handled on an hourly basis. In addition to signing a written contract, you must pay a retainer. The amount of the retainer is determined after your consultation.
